    3 month period 1 Average gross monthly income includes basic salary and additional wages like overtime pay and bonuses As an employee you will receive WIS in cash and CPF Of every 100 of WIS paid 29 will be given in cash and 71 will be credited to your CPF How much WIS you get depends on your age in the work year Your age in this work year You can get up to 35 44 1 050 45 54 1 400 55 59 2 100 60 and above 2 800 You can also use the online WIS calculator to see how much WIS you can get Workfare Special Bonus WSB In 2010 the Government announced a one off WSB over and above the regular WIS payment The WSB rewards work done in 2010 2011 and 2012 and is given in four payments Employees will receive up to 2 800 in WSB The payments will be in cash WIS is paid four times a year For work done in WIS payment date January to March 1 June April to June 1 September July to September 1 December October to December 1 March of the following year The cash portion will be paid into your bank account or mailed to you via cheque if you do not have a valid bank account For work done in 2012 eligible recipients will receive the WSB in December 2013 If your employer makes CPF contributions for you CPF Board will automatically assess your eligibility for WIS No action is required from you Under the CPF Act employers must contribute CPF for employees earning more than 50 per month regardless of whether the employee is employed on a permanent part time contract or casual basis If your employer is not contributing CPF on your behalf
