but kept dropping down And I also realised that he s mouth was shut tight Again I tried to rub his chest and tried to soothe him a bit bit This time round I really don t feel too good about what had just happened to him So I let my mum feed my baby and I quickly rang the vet Told the clinic staff about what had happened and also that I suspected my dog having a seizure I was asked to go down to the clinic immediately to have Mr P checked The vet checked on Mr P and confirmed that Mr P had indeed suffered from seizures the past 3 times I was advised against touching Mr P when he has any seizure attacks Dr told me that some dogs will turn violent when they have an attack I have to make sure that there isn t any furnitures near him and that Mr P shouldn t be near any going down stairways when he has any seizure So that he wouldn t knock himself into the furnitures or fall off the stairs when it happens And I also have to keep a diary of any special food that I give him out of the norm or any special activity happening out of the daily routine Cos there are many factors that may trigger off a seizure So it ll be good if I keep a diary of such so that I can minimise the chances of it happening So far I can only assume that the episodes happened when he is under stress Dog in stress Ya my dog leads a stressful life He worries too much When we were at the beach he was so worried that my nephews will swim too far out kept barking at them to come back to the shore When we were at the CNY event he was worried that I will leave him and there were so many big dogs around he hates big dogs The 3rd time when it happened I had just had my baby so I guess he is stressed up with having a new member in the family When the baby cries he ll bark at everyone at home and tried to gather everyone into the room to tend to the baby So far everyone in the family shower him with lots of love and care Not because he has this problem but because he is really a dog that seems to understand human The only time that I witnessed him having an attack after the trip to the vet was when we just moved into our new place 2 years ago Perhaps it was a total change in our environment and all the packing and unpacking that stressed him up again But the attack yesterday took me by surprised There wasn t anything happening out of the norm I was just standing there near the fridge and he was near my leg as usual

failing me that I have forgotten to ledge the door after sliding the door close I started to make cautious effect to keep the door ledged whenever I closed it One day I finally witnessed how he escaped He has learnt that if he pushed the sliding door outwards and hard enough he could move the ledge backwards to unlock Out of 5X of trying he would succeed at least twice Juz last Sunday when I returned home from outside I was greeted by two dogs instead of one And on Monday morning he did it again Now I have to put a chair against the sliding door hoping that he won t be able to push the sliding door outwards due to the weight of the chair I know it was just self denial I mean who am I trying to kid I am freaking dealing with dog who never say die Now that he has out smart me twice its time to start thinking of another way to lock him in for good well till he jumps bail again The perseverance in rAscal is remarkable If he is a human I think he will be a very successful person in life rAscal r r Posts 59 Joined 16 Jul 2009 10 48 Top Re Escapee on the run by hapichan 09 Sep 2009 16 24 rascal got as good looking as wentworth miller hapichan Posts 20 Joined 17 Jul 2009 12 09 Top Re Escapee on the run by r r 09 Sep 2009 17 10 hmm a cuter and hairier version r r Posts 59 Joined 16 Jul 2009 10 48 Top Re Escapee on the run by Hoehoe 14 Sep 2009 12 22 Prison break rascal lol Hoehoe Posts 54 Joined 14 Jul 2009 17 26
