2010 at 3 00 AM I noticed this trend too I hope SP continues to go green everyday not only when there is a green campaign period like this camellialimxinyi said on 16 August 2010 at 1 31 PM Yes i agree I feel that these green campaigns serves like reminders to encourage people to go green However at the end of the day it is still up to us to make the concious effort to go green ourselves Whatever green campaigns that the organizations come up with will still go down the drain if we do not adopt a consistent and true Green lifestyle that lasts in the long run attsayang said on 18 August 2010 at 9 01 PM I have to agree with camellialimxinyi s comment However I believe that people can t always come up with campaigns in order to go green It is up to the individual to remind himself herself to go green We can t always depend on such campaigns to remind ourselves victortky said on 27 August 2010 at 4 59 PM Although those organisations held the green events yearly to remind us to go green but in the end it is still up to us to do our part to save mother nature We need to be consistent in our ways to do the 3Rs and cut down on waste as wll as integrating everything we have learned during the green campaigns into our daily life in order to make sure that their efforts don t go to waste Post your comments Latest Topics CDL s E Gen Challenge E Generation Challenge13 Recycled Stationary Items Deposit refund System Plant Vs Plastic Popular Keyword Tags Environment Go Green Green Green Building Media Power Consumption Recycling SP Youth environment global warming go green

getting into accidents on the road at night Unnecessary lights are light sources coming from buildings like Marina Bay Sands i just passed by the place last night and i realised that they have lights shining towards the sky creating beautiful light rays However with such light rays shining on the sky do you realise how much power is being used up per minute These unnecessary lights could be reduced to save energy jessica said on 09 August 2010 at 11 58 PM I agree with xoxo We do need lights to guide us at night and that unnessasary usage of light should be reduced Solar energy for street lights at night can be used absorbing the energy during the day and using it during the night attsayang said on 18 August 2010 at 9 24 PM Well I suggest why not we use candles After all it will be a very romantic night out with your loved one Post your comments Latest Topics CDL s E Gen Challenge E Generation Challenge13 Recycled Stationary Items Deposit refund System Plant Vs Plastic Popular Keyword Tags Environment Go Green Green Green Building Media Power Consumption Recycling SP Youth environment global warming go

2010 at 1 18 AM Cool rinka said on 09 August 2010 at 3 06 PM Cool More restaurants should follow this and hence save more resources jumpyqueen said on 10 August 2010 at 12 03 AM This is such a creative and brilliant idea Even though the normal pizza boxes could be considered as enviromental but they are nothing compared to this whole new way of packaging This shows that there s no depth in going green jessica said on 10 August 2010 at 12 05 AM WOW This idea is really good If Singapore s pizza restaurants were to adopt this we would be able to save alot We wouldn t have to wash the plates used to serve the pizza or containers to store the leftovers The material used is also recycable softbunlet said on 10 August 2010 at 1 32 AM Cardboard can t be recycled if it has been contaminated by food However this remains a good step in the right direction camellialimxinyi said on 16 August 2010 at 2 09 PM I think this is a GREAT idea The pizza boxes are being fully utilised not forgetting that it is made from recycled cardboard in the first place This innovation definitely helps in saving the earth especially in our society where we eat alot of takeaway food Let s hope that this innovation gets widely accepted and used on a worldwide basis attsayang said on 18 August 2010 at 9 30 PM Cool But I m distracted by softbunlet s comment If cardboard can t be recycled if it has been contaminated by food then how can the pizza box be made by recycled material victortky said on 27 August 2010 at 5 04 PM Very interesting ideas If every pizza store uses these

Like chaos theory I believe that even a small step may have long lasting and significant impact in nature rinka said on 09 August 2010 at 3 10 PM Result should be proved by time Only with sustainable efforts that everyone of us put in it we can then save our Mother Earth attsayang said on 18 August 2010 at 9 37 PM Well I think the only way that the environment can be saved is simply by being responsible We love the Earth and we will have to talk less but put more into action regardless of the scientists predictions firstbornunicorn said on 21 August 2010 at 3 30 PM I suppose no one can really tell what will really happen in the future despite dire predictions such as in xxx years global warming will cause climate change which causes rise of global temperature which causes the polar ice caps to melt that will in turn cause flooding and maybe a MAJOR APOCALYPSE Well nobody will know until it comes right There is also the theory that explains that global warming and climate change is simply the Earth s own protective mechanism against the ills of human activity And this is part of a huge natural cycle of the planet s renewal of resources Just like how centuries ago dinosaurs that populated the Earth were wiped out and the planet underwent a period of Ice Age Everything seemed to start anew A fresh slate Who knows history may just repeat itself maybe not in the near future but definitely someday The humans will be wiped out by the consequences of their own activity and everything will start afresh It is a point of contention whether our efforts towards conservation now will reverse this cycle and prevent this apocalypse from
