    Tongue Languages Faculty of Music Faculty of Theatre Faculty of Visual Arts Library SOTA Organisation Chart Linda Kollati was born in Hungary the country that is rich in musical heritage At age 3 she started her musical studies where she was accepted in the Kodaly Concept based kindergarten class of Katalin Forrai who was one of the most famous students of Zoltan Kodaly She picked up her main instrument the cello at the age of 8 In 1990 she was awarded 3rd place in the National Cello Competition of Music Schools Linda studied at the Conservatory of Attila Jozsef Science University of Szeged in 1999 with distinction In the same year she won 1st place at the Janos Starker National Cello Competition and she also won the Special Prize awarded by Janos Starker During her studies at the Franz Liszt Music Academy and State University of Budapest Hungary she was honoured by the attention of the late David Soyer founder member of the Guarnieri Quartet USA and she spent 6 months in New York studying with the great master Linda graduated in 2005 in which in the final year she studied at the CNSMD de Lyon France with Anne Gastinel She holds a MA Degree in performance cello and teaching Linda moved to London in 2006 A year later she started to do post graduate studies with Stefan Popov at Guildhall She has developed great interest in education and soon she became a Music Specialist at a private childcare company She started to work based on the Kodaly Concept She also took part in Dalcroze Courses which she has become very passionate about Her posts included Cello Teacher and Chamber Music and Musicianship Teacher at the Colourstrings Music School which is based on the Hungarian Kodlay Concept She became the

    Faculty of Visual Arts Corporate Office Management Office Office of Corporate Communications Office of Faculty Administration Office of Finance Office of Human Resource Office of Procurement Office of Property Management Office of Student Affairs Office of Technology Management Office of Venue Management Adjunct Faculty Members Faculty of Dance Faculty of Mother Tongue Languages Faculty of Music Faculty of Theatre Faculty of Visual Arts Library SOTA Organisation Chart Susanne Wurmnest holds a Bachelor of Music from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College University of London She completed postgraduate studies in music journalism at the University of Karlsruhe Germany She was also a guest reader in the master program of musicology and music technology there During her postgraduate studies Susanne developed a keen interest in contemporary electronic and electro acoustic music which drew her to work at the ZKM Centre for Arts and Media Karlsruhe For the next four years she managed and conceptualised a great number of international concerts festivals and symposia featuring renowned figures and ensembles in contemporary music such as Miguel Azguime Ludger Brümmer Francis Dhomont Michael Edwards Gilles Gobeil Mauricio Kagel Garth Knox Benjamin Kobler Helmut Lachenmann Philippe Manoury Karlheinz Stockhausen Catherine Vickers as well as the Aleph Gitarrenquartett Ensemble ascolta Ensemble Modern ensemble recherche and musikFabrik NRW among many others She subsequently joined Republic Polytechnic School of Technology for the Arts as a Senior Academic Staff During her teaching stint she developed and delivered curriculum in the diverse field of music theory music composition synthesis and improvisation She also discovered Dalcroze Eurythmics and is keen on pursuing further training in this powerful teaching method Susanne continues to perform on the viola and is particularly dedicated to contemporary music practices both with and without the use of electronics extended techniques and improvisation She also composes electro acoustic music

    Management Office of Venue Management Adjunct Faculty Members Faculty of Dance Faculty of Mother Tongue Languages Faculty of Music Faculty of Theatre Faculty of Visual Arts Library SOTA Organisation Chart Anne Chua obtained her Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore majoring in both Microbiology and Physiology With a strong passion and love for Biology she first worked as a Scientific Consultant carrying out Life Science workshops for students in various secondary schools She then went on to work in a Microbiology laboratory which performed quality control testing for food and pharmaceutical industries After four years of working in the private sector Anne entered the teaching profession and obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education Credit from the National Institute of Education Prior to joining SOTA Anne was a Biology teacher in Dunman High School DHS where she was the subject coordinator and a key team member in developing curriculum and teaching resources As the teacher mentor for the Student Council from 2008 to 2009 Anne mentored the student leaders and led them on a leadership camp to Pahang Malaysia In 2009 she presented on pedagogical innovations during the East Zone Enviro Life Sciences Symposium and was a finalist
